Abstract | Efficiency of the mining industry is largely dependent on the durability and reliability mining, transport and processing equipment. Reduced downtime for repair and replacement of worn parts, reducing repair costs and replacement parts can significantly increase production and reduce operating costs. In this case the loss of mining companies in relation to the idle complex and expensive machines are often far exceeds the cost of repairs and spare parts. Currently, there are materials and technology to significantly extend the life of critical parts and components of mining machines, determining the duration of their work. The results of industrial tests of components and units of mining machines, made of composite materials. The use of these materials several times reduces downtime for repairs and replacement of worn parts compared to conventional steel are presents. |
