The beginning of the new school year is a major event for any university, including the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (National Research Nuclear University). It provides with the human resources not only native nuclear industry, but also the development of the foreign projects of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation. Today the importance of eliminating the consequences of the accident on the Fukushima-1 Nuclear Power Station, have moved from the technical aspect into the political one – the discussions, referendums and the political debates about the future of nuclear power have begun.
