Power engineering and energetic policy after the accident at Japanese Fukushima nuclear power station is discussed. Prospects of development of wind energy stations are considered as optimistic: the volume of such energy generated in 2010 was as much as 36.5 mlrd. kWt-h. In the meantime it is predicted that production of nuclear power will decrease until 2025 so that the cost of power will rise from 2.5 Euro/MWt to 10 Euro/MWt. Current situation with trading the emissions quotes is analyzed. The problems of power-saving processes, environment protection, decrease of carbon emissions, are observed on the base of experience of Saarstahl AG, Deutschen Edelstahlwerke (DEW) GmbH, ArcelorMittal and other companies.
