Lomonosov diamond deposit is situated on the territory of Arkhangelsk region and consists of 6 kymberlite pipes: Arkhangelskaya pipe, Karpinsky-1 pipe, Karpinsky-2 pipe, Pionerskaya pipe, Pomorskaya pipe and pipe named by Lomonosov.

In January 1994, “Severalmaz” company began the industrial development of Lomonosov diamond deposit.

The deposit development was planned to be hold in 2 stages. On the first stage there was realized the reserves development on the experimental and industrial area of Arkhangelskaya pipe. The second stage was the construction and introduction into exploitation of ore-dressing and processing enterprise with industrial capacity of 5 million tones of ore per year. Running of the enterprise at full capacity is planned to be in 2015.

An autogenous mill is applied on the beneficating redivision as the basic equipment. On the following operations there is applied the equipment, which supplies the hard environment separation processes and processes of the final concentration of the gravitational concentrate on the X-ray-luminescent separators.

Storing of mill tailings is held in tailing dump with closed circulating water supply.

The new development project of Lomonosov ore-dressing and processing enterprise was realized in 2011, on the basis of the engineering and economical evaluation, which was realized by “Yakutniproalmaz” institute.

The market organization was created in Moscow for diamond realization by “Severalmaz” company.
The production for cutting the Arkhangelsk diamonds and manufacturing the jewelery is successfully functioning in Severodvinsk on engineering enterprise “Zvezdochka”. There appeared a new brand: “diamonds of Belomorye”.

Pomorye geological prospecting expedition as a subdivision of “Severalmaz” JSC holds a prospecting work in the limits of Arkhangelsk diamondiferous province.
