• Studies on the problems of modeling foundry processes and designing the optimal technology for making castings using new technological methods and devices.
• Research and modeling of the formation of defects in castings from ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys and development of methods for their prevention.
• Investigation of management methods of casting quality formation and melt interaction with foundry mold and development of environmentally friendly technologies.
• Research and implementation of modern material, resource and energy-saving technologies in machine building.
• Development of intensive casting technologies using rods, molds and lining weights based on metal phosphate binders using oxide-containing materials for bonding compositions.
• Development of new principles for ensuring environmental safety and low-waste cold-hardening mixtures, lining masses.
• Development of gluing processes, non-stick staining of molds, rods and corrosion-resistant heat-resistant coatings of castings with metal phosphates.
