Heat resistance of platinum alloys

E. I. Rytvin

This book presents the data about the hard-solution, substructure and dispersed hardening of platinum and its alloys, about a heat resistance of the foliated materials on their basis, as well as the platinum alloys with plasma-ceramic covering. There are given heat-resistance characteristics of two-and multicomponent platinum alloys on the air and in the silicate melt. There is considered, that alloying and doped elements, chemical microinhomogeneity, temperature, train, thermal cycling and high-temperature corrosion have an impact on the structure and heat resistence of platinum alloys.
