Tsvetnye Metally

 
The October issue of Tsvetnye Metally marks the 150th anniversary of the Periodic Law developed by the great Russian scientist Dmitry Mendeleev. It also marks the International Year of the Periodic Table.
 
2019 as the International Year of the Periodic Table is of particular importance for our country and the overall academic community. This event will undoubtfully promote the international recognition of the contribution made by the great Russian scientist Dmitry Mendeleev and of Russian science in general.
 
This issue features articles contributed by Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, Russian Technological University MIREA, Saint Petersburg State Institute of Technology, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Prokhorov General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Bauman Moscow State Technical University, Kazan National Research Technological University, Emanuel Institute of Biochemical Physics, as well as articles contributed by the CIS offices of Purolite Ltd, Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Works, and Obninsk Research and Production Enterprise Technologiya named after A.G. Romashin. Their papers describe the findings obtained as a result of research, design and implementation work.
