L. V. Oganesyan is an author of various monographs and publications in profile scientific and technical issues. He is also a participant of the problem oriented forums. He presents this article, where the modern status of Russian geological industry is estimated as critical.
Increasing of negative tendencies is stated along with absence of efficient control system of geological researches and geological prospecting works. The author proposes to speed up the preparation and adoption of a new Federal Law “About the geological service and geological exploration of subsoils”. The main tasks of this Federal Law are also shown in this article.
