Abstract | The authors appreciate participation of K. S. Kolikov, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor, MISiS, in this research work. The article presents methodology for forecasating maximum allowable face output based on gas criterion. The calculations use differential equations of methane mass transfer in terms of partial derivatives. The source information was the data on actual ground conditions in Kirov Mine, SUEK-Kuzbass. The authors adduce the calculation results that allow estimating effect of face conveyor velocity, fraction composition of broken coal and face length on coal production. The developed methodology enables a tentative forecast of gas content of air in the face area, which is required in planning extraction sites or production units. The forecast methodology for maximum allowable face output is meant for routine and long-term production planning. |
