Tsvetnye Metally

The 4-th issue of “Tsvetnye Metally” (Non-ferrous metals) journal (April 2016) shows the issues of theory and practice of ore concentration, production and processing of non-ferrous metals, complex use of crude ore, economics and management of production, and automation of metallurgical processes.

The item “Rare metals, semiconductors” tells about the assessment of the results, reached using strongly basic anionites for sodium tungstate conversion into ammonium tungstate during the processing autoclave-soda decomposition solutions of standard scheelite concentrates. Tungsten sorption directly from carbonate solutions required gel anionites AM, Amberjet 4400, Purolite SGA 600, Purolite PFA600/4740 and macroporous anionite Purolite A500U.

The item “Metal processing” tells about the method for definition of sulfide corrosion resistance of the alloys, passed through the granule processing stages. All investigations were carried out by All-Russia Institute of Light Alloys.

The article “Sufficiency principle and achievement optimal structure in light alloys” tells about the certain range of tasks for products manufacturing with a required (given) level of properties and, as a result, with optimal structure which may be solved with the lower costs, with application of cheaper technologies.
