Gornyi Zhurnal
Moscow Mining Academy was founded a century ago. It became the basis of the world-known Moscow mining school and now it is the Mining Institute of MISiS. In connection to this, the first issue of “Gornyi Zhurnal” (January 2018) includes a number of articles, devoted to this event, and tells about the role of our journal in the Institute’s life from the very beginning.
The XXI session of Intergovernmental Council of the CIS countries on exploration, use and protection of soils discussed the urgent problems of legislation improvement in the soil use sphere. Our issue shows the Russian attitude to this subject.
Combined geotechnology belongs to the prospective works in resource-saving and energy efficiency. Several articles in this issue were written about this on the basis of the IX International scientific and practical conference in Magnitogorsk.
Labour relations play a vital role in manufacturing activity of mining enterprises. The article, published in this issue, shows this role in theoretical point of view and on the example of improvement of organizational structure of coal cut “Izykhskiy” in Khakassia.
Our issue also includes several special articles, which, as we hope, will be useful to readers in their practical work.
