The May 2022 (No. 5) issue of Gornyi Zhurnal has the pleasure to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Tver State Technical University.
The articles prepared by the members of the University address the history of the University and its departments engaged in training of specialists in various branches of industry, and highlight the professional performance of the academic personnel. The advancement of the leading schools in the sphere of peat extraction is described. The major achievements in peat geology and exploration, physics and chemistry of peat, peat mechanics and machine engineering, as well as in peat production and processing technologies are listed. The key trends of ecologically and economically effective use of peat in the agricultural sector are listed.
The closing section of the issue contains contributions to honor the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
